'Mid Summer Madness': Salman Khurshid Slams PM Over 'Corrupt No.1' Jibe at Rajiv GandhiNew Delhi: Congress leader Salman Khurshid added more fire to the raging political slugfest over PM Narendra Modi’s "corrupt no. 1" barb against Rajiv Gandhi, terming it the Prime Minister's "mid-summer madness". 

“Mid summer madness of PM Modi. Seeking short cuts to oblivion!" he said and in a subsequent tweeted added, "PM Modi has touched the bottom of decency and humanity by foul mouth comments on late Rajivji. For the first time I am ashamed of a serving PM of India."

AMRITSAR: Actor-turned-BJP candidate Sunny Deol filed his nomination papers from Punjab's Gurdaspur parliamentary constituency today. Earlier in the day, Sunny Deol, 62, offered prayers at the Golden Temple in Amritsar before leaving for Gurdaspur, 75 km away. Punjab BJP chief and Rajya Sabha MP Shwait Mailk, Haryana finance minister and party''s election incharge of Punjab Capt Abhimanyu and Akali leader Gurbachan Singh Babehali also accompanied Deol. In a tweet, veteran actor Dharmendra sought support of the people for the victory of his son Sunny Deol from Gurdaspur seat. "We seek your support…Support us…it will be your victory.
